Graduation Day at The Quadricentennial Pavilion

My youngest brother graduated from college last Wednesday, and as usual, all of us were there to witness this. My other brother had been home from work for only a few hours when Dad came knocking in their room to wake them up. It was crazy to be up at five o’clock in the morning to get ready for my brother’s graduation. Candidates for graduation were expected to be at the venue at least an hour prior, but we were late, and Mom perpetually complained about it the entire morning.

The Quadricentennial Pavilion was already packed when we arrived. Good thing our cousin, who was also graduating that day, arrived earlier than we did. They reserved seats for us, saving us from the trouble of finding decent ones since we were late. I won’t bore you with what went on a 4-hour commencement exercises, but instead share some photos we took that day:

For most people, graduating from college is an end to a long-time scholastic journey. However, I believe that my parents deserve all the merit because by God’s grace, they were able to send all three of us to one of the best universities in the country. Isn’t it a dream of every parent to be able to send his kid to good school? My parents well-succeeded on that, and we will forever be grateful.

I think my folks deserve more than congratulatory remarks, don’t you?
